Course Outline

This 1-day course teaches delegates an authoritative understanding of where asbestos is likely to find and how to avoid situations which might expose them to asbestos, which can cause serious health problems. As well as this, delegates will be equipped with a range of instructor skills, helping them pass on their knowledge to their trainees.

• Science of fire
• Dangers of smoke
• Evacuation procedures
• Classification of fire
• Fire extinguisher theory and practical

• Presenting information.
• ‘Do’s and don’ts’.

Course Assessment

The course is delivered in 1 day and candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn along with interaction in group activities.
